This Privacy Policy explains what information Trimbakeshwar Yatra (the 'Platform') collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account: mobile number and the profile details you provide (name, email, address, photo).
- Provider details: for vendors, business/verification information and supported languages.
- Bookings & payments: services booked, dates, amounts and payment status (card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us).
- Usage & device: basic technical data used to operate and secure the service; a push token if you enable notifications.
2. How we use information
- To authenticate you (OTP), create your account and process bookings, payments, receipts and refunds.
- To connect pilgrims with providers and share the details needed to deliver a service (e.g. your booking and preferred language with the provider).
- To send service messages and, if enabled, push notifications; to prevent fraud and keep the Platform secure; and to comply with law.
3. How we share information
With the providers you book (to fulfil bookings); with service partners (payment processor, SMS provider, cloud/storage) only as needed; and when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by a third-party gateway; full card details are entered with the gateway and are not stored on our servers.
5. Retention & security
We keep information as long as needed to provide services and meet legal obligations, and use reasonable measures (encrypted connections, short-lived/hashed tokens, access controls) to protect it. No system is 100% secure.
6. Your choices
- View and update your profile at any time.
- Turn notifications on/off and change your app language.
- Request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us (subject to legal limits).
7. Children & changes
The Platform is not directed to children under 18. We may update this policy and will post the new version here with an updated date.
